Solidarity: Just Live It!

“I sing of love and justice; to you, Lord, I sing praise” ~Psalm 101

Young Catholics are essential part in the Church’s work for justice. Click the links below to find out what you can do to promote justice at home and around the world.

Pray!

We are a people of prayer. Pray for justice, peace, and the work of Catholic Relief Services around the globe.

Educate!

What you know determines what you can do. Educate yourself and others about justice issues and the Church Social Teaching.

Serve!

Serving others fosters solidarity. Begin by acting justly in your family, volunteering in your community and participating in Catholic Relief Services’ programs.

Advocate!

Public policies must promote justice, peace and human dignity. Advocate and speak out for the most vulnerable, here and abroad, by writing letters to your elected representatives.

Lead!

You are called to be a Church leader. Guide your friends, family and parish community to appreciate the gift of Catholic Social Teaching and the work of Catholic Relief Services. By living in global solidarity, we can work together to create a better, more just world.

Give!

We are called to give generously of our time, talent and treasure to those in need. Accept the U.S. Bishops’ “invitation to help change the world;” give back some of what God has given you.
