Did you know that the Catholic bishops of the United States have published an election-year statement to help you connect your faith to your decisions as citizens? The statement and dozens of related resources are available at www.faithfulcitizenship.org. The web site features videos, podcasts, prayers, readings, and educational resources appropriate for use in both school and parish settings. You can also sign up to be notified about new, free resources that become available. The document, Forming Consciences for Faithful Citizenship, and its accompanying web site, has use beyond the election season as political responsibility is an ongoing obligation to participate in public life guided by the values of our faith.
Fashion Me a People Conference
The future of catechesis is happening now as parish teams develop dynamic, lifelong catechesis in communities, large and small, across the United States, Canada, and many places around the world. The Fashion Me A People Conference is designed to work with you in the support of effective lifelong catechesis. Sponsored by the Center for Ministry Development in partnership with Houghton-Mifflin Harcourt Religion Publishers, Oregon Catholic Press, 23rd Publications and now Catholic Relief Services, this conference promises a dynamic speakers who will blend of innovation and solid, practical, implementation strategies.
