In 1993, Pope John Paul II challenged the young people of the world to "Follow the pilgrim Cross; go in search of God, and you will see that God is also to be found in the heart of a modern city" (John Paul II, 08/12/93. Papal Welcoming Ceremony in the Mile High Stadium of Denver). This global pilgrimage is one way to respond to the late Pope's challenge to make a pilgrimage!. Sitting at your computer you can: learn about the cultures of some of the people you will meet at World Youth Day in Sydney, pray for peace and justice, read about the work of the U.S. Catholic Church that serves people around the world, and take action by acting justly and living in solidarity while preparing yourself for World Youth Day.
