Little Flower Challenge

You have the opportunity to join in the partnership between NCCL and Catholic Relief Services to battle ongoing conflict around the world!

Through your registration, you will gain access to the free resources that will help you to plan and facilitate educational opportunities to challenge your students to think globally and to act as missionary disciples!

This October, CRS is challenging you to begin a journey to spread love and solidarity through Praying, Learning, Acting, and Giving. By participating in the CRS Little Flower Challenge from Respect Life Month until the beginning of Lent, you will bring your students into greater solidarity with our brothers and sisters around the world who struggle for peace and safety each day.

The CRS Little Flower Challenge is a toolkit of resources based on each of the seven principles of Catholic social teaching. The theme for the 2018 is Peacebuilding. Children will learn about Catholic social teaching and its relationship to building world peace through interesting, educational, and faith-filled prayers and activities.

Saint Therese of Lisieux, the “Little Flower,” is the patron saint of international missions, not because she traveled to far-off destinations, but because of the special love, prayers and letters she gave in support of the work of Christ overseas. Her story will inspire children to pray and make small sacrifices— the “little things” — to bring about meaningful change in the world.

Register now for your FREE resources! After registering, you will receive a link to the resource page where the CRS Little Flower Challenge Peacebuilding toolkit will be available beginning August 1st, 2018!
